School Counselor

Hello and welcome! My name is Mrs. LaTiffany Tabb, and I proudly serve as the school counselor at Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools – Middle, part of the Tuscaloosa City Schools district. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 2013 and received my Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama in 2018. The 2025–2026 school year marks my seventh year as a middle school counselor educator!

I focus on helping students develop in the areas of academics, personal development, and college and career exploration, as they prepare for the transition to high school. I collaborate with teachers, families, and community partners to ensure each student has the tools and support they need to thrive. 

It is truly a privilege and a joy to serve the students, families, and greater Tuscaloosa community. Outside of school, I love reading a great book, traveling, and spending time with my two boys, my husband, and friends.
