Academic Integrity Policy
An academic integrity policy forms from an agreement among all school stakeholders that we will promote, teach, discuss, and model what it means to be academically honest. This document is currently under review and revision by all stakeholders for the 2023-2024 academic school year. Our school welcomes input from its stakeholders regarding this policy.
Inclusion Policy
The Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools – Middle embraces the philosophy of inclusion that is in accordance with all local, state, and federal policies, procedures, and practices with regard to its Inclusion Policy. The TMSM inclusion policy complies also with the admissions policy of the Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools – Middle. While TMS-M is an academic magnet school, we recognize that our students may come to us with barriers that require accommodations and/or support. Assessment Policy
The purpose of this document is to provide insight into the philosophy, policies, practices, and procedures with regard to assessment at TMS-M. Language Policy
We believe that all learning takes place through linguistic means; therefore, TMS-M has created a language program which centers on both native English support and instruction, as well as the introduction of Spanish as a second language. Additionally, TMS-M has in place a support system for those students and families whose mother tongue is not English.
